Volunteer with our dynamic team who seek to support the homeless, prisoners and ex-offenders in their time of need
Meet the team and get involved
Dave works closely with the trustees and oversees vision, strategic development, and funding. Contact Dave if you would like to get involved in research, writing funding applications or fundraising initiatives.
Susan has been visiting people on a weekly basis in prison for well over a decade! She oversees all our activities in our three local prisons, as well as the Immigration Detention Centre. Contact Susan if you would like to get involved in visiting people in prison.
Jemma – an ex-staff nurse – oversees our housing programme; recruiting, selecting, and supporting residents in all of our houses. Contact Jemma if you are interested in leasing property to ACT, donating items that might be of use, or supporting our residents.
Meet at the Gate Coordinator
Rob runs our Meet at the Gate programme, as well as overseeing our mentoring programme. Contact Rob if you have 1–2 hours a week and would like to mentor an ex-offender, or support someone in our local bail hostel.
Rachel is the glue between all our activities, overseeing volunteer recruitment, training, event management, and publicity.
Chris studied theology at Oxford and now lives in one of our ACT houses and acts as a peer mentor.
